![]() If I now want to buy TotalFX, what do I do? If I have gone about this the wrong way, and would now be out of pocket paying for TotalFX separately, is there any way I can contact Lightworks staff directly to discuss the mistake and to ask to get TotalFX for the additional cost that I would have paid if I had gone about purchasing Pro+TotalFX the right way in the first place?Īpologies for the long post, and also if my questions are noob-ish.Īny help and explanation would be appreciated. should I have gone straight to the My Products page and bought the combined Pro+TotalFX package? If so, am I right in thinking that I would now be out of pocket if I bought TotalFX separately?Ĥ. As I wanted to get the Pro license with TotalFX, have I completely gone about this the wrong way? I.e. What are the differences between the three options shown in the screenshots above? Why am I being offered a £49.99 upgrade to the Pro license? (I thought this was the best license, and so I don't understand what the upgrade could be!)ģ. Am I right in thinking that I do not currently have access to TotalFX?Ģ. I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm or explain the following for me.ġ. I am further confused by the fact that there is another option on the Buy Licenses page, where TotalFX is listed for a different price from the £49.99 and £199.99 options above: ![]() In the My Products page there are two options listed as upgrades to my Pro license: However, I'm confused about what I would now need to do if I decided to pay for TotalFX. I now think that this was a mistake on my part, and from poking about it looks to me as though the above table is saying, essentially, "this upgrade is available to you if you buy a Pro license."Īnnoying, but not the end of the world (the C&E effects are very useful). Each available license will have an ZActivate button, clicking this will activate the license on the system. The "Comparisons" page ( ) appears to suggest that it is included: The application will connect to our activation server and return a Free license automatically (Internet connection required) If you have purchased a Lightworks Pro or AVID DNxHD license these will appear ready for activation. One of the main reasons I paid for the Pro license was because I thought that it came with TotalFX. The full price was £249.99 but I only paid £125 (plus an additional £25 VAT for a total of £149.99). I bought the license through the main page ( ) for 50% off using the Oscars discount code. The other day I bought a perpetual Pro license. I've been using the free version for a few years.
